Zenoss to Highlight KVM Virtualization Monitoring Capability at Red Hat Summit

Zenoss Inc., the fastest-growing provider of enterprise IT service assurance products for physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT environments, today announced the company will exhibit at Red Hat Summit (booth 18) where it will demo Zenoss Enterprise, its enterprise-grade IT service assurance product, and highlight support for KVM virtualization instances and guests.

KVM is Red Hat's preferred cloud and virtualization solution. Zenoss' libvirt Virtualization ZenPack leverages the libvirt API for monitoring virtualization servers including the KVM Linux hypervisor and other virtualization technologies. As organizations continue to consolidate and virtualize their IT infrastructure, the ability to seamlessly monitor physical and virtual services through a single product is a priority. With its deep virtualization management capabilities, Zenoss enables dynamic monitoring of a heterogeneous virtualization environment all through one enterprise-monitoring product.

The libvirt Virtualization ZenPack was the Grand Prize winner of the recent Zenoss in the Clouds contest and provides the foundation for monitoring a number of virtualization technologies. The ZenPack has been extensively tested with KVM, QEMU and VMware and is designed to work with Xen, OpenVZ, Virtual Box, Open Nebula and other virtualization technologies.

The libvirt Virtualization ZenPack is freely available for download. For more information, visit
