Parallels APAC Summit to Explore Cloud Services Growth in Asia

Parallels, the global leader in Cloud enablement software will bring together some of the biggest names in the Cloud services industry to discuss the future and profitability of the cloud computing in Asia at the Parallels APAC Summit on 24th – 26th September. 

Speakers at the Summit include executives from Microsoft, Go Daddy, VeriSign and Open Xchange who will address critical issues surrounding the adoption of public Cloud services in the region, including security, bandwidth costs, service availability and reliability, vendor viability and maturity.

In addition, Parallels will host a Cloud services panel that will explore the environmental factors affecting business models, addressing issues such as the automation versus virtualisation debate, applications, competition and industry convergence.  Confirmed participants include Bhavin Turakhia from Directi (India), Daryl Webb from Webvisions (Singapore), Jason Frisch from (Japan), Michael McGoogan from AussieHQ (Australia), and Natalie Kong from PacHosting (Hong Kong). 

Small businesses are amongst the fastest adopters of Cloud services allowing them access to enterprise-class IT services in a cost-effective and flexible manner.  The Parallels APAC Summit will take a close look at what hosters need to consider when targeting the small business market, including a focus on partnerships and customer relations, not just price.
