Today XaaS, Inc. announced the official roll-out of its secure unified cloud computing service named ClearControl – a cloud computing platform that brings military-grade security, guaranteed application performance, and comprehensive control over the geographic location of critical data within the cloud.
The XaaS Cloud currently provides all U.S. Federal Agencies with a central platform for the exchange of information – establishing XaaS as a proven and robust platform for enterprises of all sizes. XaaS ClearControl delivers a true unified cloud environment that creates a seamless public (Internet) & private (on-premises) virtual IT infrastructure, following strict DoD Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA ) security guidelines.
"We extend our secure Public Cloud physically into an organization to deliver a seamless unified cloud infrastructure based on strict adherence to DoD DISA standards," said Christopher Grady, CEO of XaaS, Inc. "XaaS ClearControl was designed specifically to deliver application performance on-premises and control over the physical location of sensitive data within the cloud to address legal and regulatory requirements."
XaaS Key Imperatives
XaaS defines four key imperatives that are critical to accelerating the trust and adoption of cloud computing:
1. Security: Adherence to DoD Defense Information System Agency (DISA) security guidelines on all levels of cloud architecture including hardware, storage, networking, virtualization, and operating systems.
2. Unified Multi-location Cloud Computing: A Cloud architecture capable of providing live server and data migration from the private (on-premises) cloud to the public (remote data center) cloud with no impact to end users.
3. Data Control: Control over the physical location of data by allowing organizations to keep specific data on-premises to meet legal, regulatory or IT requirements.
4. Mission Critical Application Performance: The ability to physically extend the cloud to encompass both on-premises resources and data center resources for applications that are data-intensive or have end-user requirements requiring close geographic proximity.
