GraphOn Corporation, a leading worldwide developer of application publishing and Web-enabling solutions, announced the first service pack for its newly released GO-Global Windows Host 4.0 application virtualization software. GO-Global Web-enables Windows applications for easy remote access from any PC, Mac, or Web browser.
“This service pack includes enhanced multi-monitor support, substantial performance improvements, and miscellaneous fixes,” said Asaf Doron, GraphOn vice president of product marketing.
With the multi-monitor enhancement, Windows applications running within GO-Global sessions can be displayed, minimized and maximized on multiple monitors. Performance improvements include communications protocol optimization that enables faster usage. “Accessing a file on the client computer is now up to 20 times faster,” said Doron.
“In addition, we are working on a future upgrade release that will add even more functionality,” concluded Doron. “New features will enable more use cases and enhance GO-Global’s Windows client accessories support.”
