CA Technologies to Showcase its Virtualization and Cloud Solutions at VMworld Europe 2010

CA Technologies today announced that it is a platinum sponsor of VMworld Europe 2010, held from October 12-14 in Bella Center, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Throughout the event, CA Technologies will showcase its many solutions for eliminating VM stall and progressing on the journey from virtualization to cloud computing in booth #40. Attendees will learn about CA Technologies four-step model for helping customers evolve from an entry-level virtualization project to a mature dynamic data center and private cloud strategy.

In addition, CA Technologies will host the following sessions:

Wednesday, October 13th at 4:30pm, Room 20
“Getting Over the Hump – How to Jump-start Your Stalled Virtualization Deployment”
Andi Mann, VP of Product Marketing, Virtualization and Automation
Stephen Elliott, VP of Strategy, Virtualization and Automation

Many organizations are experiencing virtualization stall, which prevents them from moving beyond the first stage on the virtualization maturity curve and realizing the full scope of benefits of the technology. This session will show how to ensure successful virtualization deployments by containing risk, managing resources and establishing effective management. Attendees will come away knowing how to identify problems in their IT organization before they appear, how to expand their virtualization deployments, and move further along in their journey to dynamic data centers and cloud computing.

Thursday, October 14th at 1:30pm, Room 10

“How to Bypass the Usual IT Roadblocks and Get Your Private Cloud Up and Running in Less Than 30 Days” Matthew Richards, Sn Director Product Marketing, Cloud
Stephen Hurford, Cloud Services Director, DNS Europe

As enterprises get started with cloud computing, they are most often taking an evolutionary approach by expanding their virtualization, automation and standardization strategies—a sound approach, but one that can take time to execute. This session will highlight a new game-changing approach to get cloud up-and running in less than a month.
