Virtual Bridges Names Vice President of Service Provider Business Strategy and Vice President of Marketing

Virtual Bridges, Inc. today announced expansion of the company’s leadership team. Geoff Gilton joins as vice president of service provider business strategy and Denise Court joins as vice president of marketing.

With the addition of these two individuals, we’re in great shape to take advantage of the opportunity and achieve our ambitious goals.”

In his new role, Gilton is responsible for defining the business and go-to-market strategy for Virtual Bridges’ service provider offering. He also collaborates with the company’s executive team on key partnerships and business development initiatives to increase revenue and visibility in the virtualization desktop (VDI) market.

Throughout his career, Gilton has worked closely with managed service providers, bringing leading-edge technology concepts to market. His expertise includes data center services, cloud computing, data center virtualization and managed IT services. Previously, Gilton served as vice president of product management at Devonshire Investors and also led the strategy and product portfolio for COLT Managed Services business in London, providing leadership for the COLT Managed Services portfolio across COLT European infrastructure. Prior to working at COLT, Geoff led the development of KVH’s IT Managed Services business in Tokyo, Japan.

As vice president of marketing, Court is responsible for the company’s marketing and communications functions, including product positioning, product launch management and integrated marketing communications targeting customers, partners, prospects, analysts, press and other key stakeholders.

Court brings a wealth of strategic marketing experience to her role. She most recently served as vice president of outbound marketing at Hyper9, an enterprise virtualization management leader, where she led marketing activities including positioning, branding, messaging, segmentation, sales enablement, and media and analyst relations. Court has also held senior management roles at itzbig, Collective Technologies (acquired by MTI), Pervasive Software, Motive, Inc. (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent), OpenConnect Systems Inc. and JBA International.
