Marathon Technologies Introduces End-to-End Application Availabilty by Integrating everRun MX with Disaster Recovery Capabilities
Marathon Technologies, the leading provider and innovator of application availability solutions, announced the release of everRun MX Extend. The new product builds upon the company’s fault tolerant SMP solution, everRun MX, and integrates CA Technologies’ ARCserve replication technology to deliver unmatched end-to-end application availability. Combining fault tolerance and disaster recovery into one solution provides comprehensive business continuity by protecting organizations from both localized system failures and catastrophic site disasters.

everRun MX Extend is designed not only to prevent localized failures, but also to deliver remote failover capabilities. This feature helps customers to quickly restore business operations from a geographically distant “hot site” in the event that the computing infrastructure at a primary business location becomes completely disabled. By removing both operational and economic constraints for continuous uptime, the combined offering delivers complete, unmatched application and data protection for any organization regardless of staffing constraints, budget, or location.
