RES Software Adds Seven New Solution Providers to U.S. Partner Program
RES Software, the proven leader in dynamic desktop solutions, today announced a growing number of new solution providers throughout the United States have joined its channel program. GuardEra Access Solutions, Sage Technology Group, Sequel Data Systems, SIGMAnet, Alphaserve Technologies and Artemis Technology are now trusted advisors and new members of the RES Software Channel Partner Program. This announcement comes on the heels of RES Software recently adding new Platinum Partner Gotham Technology Group to its reseller network. The seven new solution providers demonstrate tremendous growth for RES Software, a result of its commitment to expansion in the U.S. and attractive partner program. RES Software solutions were chosen by these partners based on the company’s innovation and leadership in delivering dynamic desktop solutions.

These new partnerships build on the RES Software growing partner network that includes more than 170 channel partners worldwide alongside strategic technology relationships with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Citrix and VMware. Through the RES Software Partner Program the company works exclusively with its channel partners across the globe on revenue-generating implementations that improve customer satisfaction, expand their relationships with customers and deliver higher margin points. RES Software provides its channel partners with first-class training and support to ensure they have a full understanding of how to best implement and manage RES Software solutions.

Each new partner can now offer customers access to RES Dynamic Desktop Studio, a software suite developed to help organizations move towards more strategic and cost effective IT as a Service models. The Dynamic Desktop Studio combines RES Virtual Desktop Extender (VDX), RES Workspace Manager and RES Automation Manager, including its new Service Orchestration Module, which provides users an IT service catalog for self-servicing or automatic delivery based upon business rules, a missing link for most organizations.

"We have seen an increase in partner demand for our solution because it helps accelerate the adoption of VDI and dynamic desktop projects that navigate between a physical and virtual desktop. This achieves a faster ROI for both the end user and the partner," said Jim Kirby, President of RES Software, Americas. "We’re excited to get these new partners on board and will work with them in the coming months to make their desktop infrastructure projects more successful."

More on why these organizations chose to partner with RES Software:

"We provide our customers a host of services designed to help them optimize their environments and ensure they are deriving the most value out of their IT assets," said Lee Green, Director of Marketing for SIGMAnet. "Paramount to this is reducing the amount of time IT must spend on tasks that should be easily managed, automatable activities. The intuitive dynamic desktop solutions offered by RES Software make this a reality, specifically at the desktop level, by ensuring precious resources are not wasted on routine desktop changes and updates."

"Desktop virtualization often leads to a complicated and confusing implementation process, and as result can be slow to get off the ground," said Nigel Lambert, Executive Vice President from Artemis Technology. "RES Software enables us to make desktop virtualization a reality for our customers. Its solution simplifies the desktop into a centrally managed and secure workspace that is easily controlled by IT and delivers end-users all the services they require, regardless of the platform they operating, virtual or otherwise."

"We partnered with RES Software because its technology was the most successful in providing our customers with the solutions and reliability necessary to run their computing environments on virtual desktop platforms," said Len Olson, Owner, Sage Technology Group. "The Company also has relationships with VMware and Lakeside Software, two of our key vendors. Being close to these key manufacturers ensures compatibility and reduces problems with technology upgrade roll-outs. Additionally, the individual hands-on approach to technical training that is offered by RES Software allows us to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction."

"With the evolution of technologies such as cloud, virtualization, thin client and server-based computing, desktop management complexities are on the rise at all organizations," said Mike Panno, President, GuardEra Access Solutions. "RES Software offers an adaptable solution with the critical features necessary to enable our IT staff to mitigate any challenges that arise at our customer sites. As a result, IT runs more efficiently, achieving significant time and cost savings which can be refocused to more strategic business initiatives."

"We continue to see customer demand for new, more flexible infrastructures including cloud, thin-clients and virtualization. However, with these new technologies come a whole set of new challenges, particularly in managing the desktop," said Chris Case, President of Sequel Data Systems. "Partnering with RES Software we are able to build a bridge between these new technologies and the desktop. This ensures easy management and delivery of personalized and secure workspaces for end users, regardless of the operating platform."

"Our Legal and financial services customer base requires highly secure, agile solutions that help them minimize low priority operational costs and improve overall business returns," said Sylvain Ardiet, Managing Partner – System Practice Manager of Alphaserve Technologies. "RES Software allows our customers to optimize their businesses and manage the strict security mandates facing their industries. Its context-aware dynamic desktop solutions increase security, expedite user access and help improve management of increasingly complex infrastructure and multiple Application Delivery Platforms running in parallel."
