VMware PEX is like a smaller version of VMworld but limited exclusively to VMware partners.  Partners will typically see a VMware roadmap, get info on new releases, breakout sessions and sales and marketing tips for VMware products.  And the event itself is jam packed with a full conference agenda, and it can become confusing if you're left sorting through books, papers and printouts to try and figure out where you need to be next.  Enter the iPhone app.

A new, free iPhone app is being made available for VMware PEX 2011.  With it, you can view the conference agenda, search for sessions that interest you most, follow your favorite speakers, provide feedback on sessions, and much more.  Your iPhone becomes an indispensable guide to VMware Partner Exchange with the PEX2011 app!

What a great idea!  I only hope that the same thing happens for VMworld 2011, and even more so, I hope they port this application over to the Android format.  I'm selfish that way, since I personally opted for the Android over an iPhone.  Sorry Apple.
