Vyatta, the leader in software-based networking for physical, virtual and cloud infrastructures, announced today that Carpathia Hosting, a leading provider of complex managed hosting services for government agencies and enterprises, has selected the Vyatta Network OS to provide on-demand cloud security to customers utilizing Carpathia's InstantOn cloud platform.

Carpathia provides secure, reliable and compliant IT infrastructure and management for some of the world's most demanding enterprises and federal agencies. To better serve its cloud customers, the company needed a per tenant virtual machine-based networking and security solution that included enterprise-grade firewall, VPN and intrusion prevention.
