The successful technology company Dögel IT-Management, after a year of testing, has now launched its own application virtualization called Evalaze.
In recent months the developers of this German software producer completed work on its technical preview to finally be launching version 1.0 of Evalaze. Evalaze was greatly improved in terms of handling and ergonomics. Customer feedback received during its testing phase was integrated, and new functionalities of the engine were implemented.
The main innovations are:
- The virtual file system / virtual registry can now be edited in Evalazer
- A Global Isolation Mode with intuitive presets was implemented
- Implementation and support of UNC paths as well as Windows 8.3 file names
- The configuration and addition of Entry Points is now possible
- Automatic deletion of the Sandbox
In addition to the many new features, a simple and appealing licensing model for private and business customers has been set up. The well-known Free Version of Evalaze will continue to be offered. Additionally, there now is a Private Professional Version in conjunction with a licensing system for business customers and software producers, who will enjoy access to advanced settings and functions.
With its new engine, Evalaze has successfully positioned itself in the application virtualization market, combining the advantages of its competitors with all the benefits of a German engineering and support team. Dögel IT Management offers many years of experience in the sales and support of application virtualizations and has been a leader in this market as a reseller of Thinstall (now ThinApp) from its start. The resulting customer feedback, which included many suggestions for improvements, have prompted the company to develop their own solution and to keep support - especially critical for businesses - in Germany.
