Veeam Software today announced that it has been named a Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) Software Partner. The
Veeam nworks Management Pack (MP) for VMware environments will be installed in Microsoft Technology Centers worldwide. These collaborative environments provide access to innovative technologies and world-class expertise, enabling enterprises to envision, design and deploy solutions to meet their exact needs. Veeam Software is also a Microsoft Gold Partner, System Center Alliance Partner and 2010 Partner of the Year finalist.
The nworks MP leverages and protects an organization’s investment in Microsoft System Center by bringing monitoring and management for VMware environments to the Operations Manager console. The product is VMware Ready™ and is included in the Microsoft System Center MP Catalog on Pinpoint, signifying it has passed Microsoft’s MP best-practice analysis and guidelines.
The nworks MP also includes a PRO Pack to automate problem resolution using System Center Virtual Machine Manager. “The Veeam nworks MP enables 24/7 monitoring and management of the VMware environment by staff who already know System Center, which eliminates the need to purchase, deploy, learn and maintain a separate monitoring framework,” said Chuck McCann, Worldwide MTC Alliances Program Director for Microsoft. “Veeam helps complete Microsoft’s vision for the private cloud across heterogeneous environments.”
“Veeam has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Microsoft, and we are so pleased to have been named an MTC Software Partner,” said Rick Hoffman, Vice President, Worldwide Channels and Alliances for Veeam. “Now even more enterprises worldwide will be able to take full advantage of Microsoft and Veeam technologies to gain a global view of their IT infrastructures, enabling them to proactively intervene and prevent problems to ensure business continuity.”
