VMware Users Get Faster Migrations From SanXfer 3.0
InQuinox announces SanXfer release 3.0 which simplifies the process of moving into (or out of) Cloud Computing environments by supporting a virtualized environment more rapidly than any other enterprise solution. SanXfer 3.0 now supports Cloud and Virtualized environments, especially VMware and VMDK files. In four (4) simple, automated, wizard-driven steps, SanXfer 3.0 moves Windows clients from Physical to Virtual (P2V) within minutes, saving days of project time.

"Our customers asked InQuinox to simplify the move from physical to virtual environments for VMware users, and today, SanXfer meets their needs," said Brad Hargett, InQuinox's CEO. "SanXfer 3.0 is the most robust product to support server and data migration needs today and offers easy 'Drag and Drop DataCenter Migration' features for fast implementation."

By utilizing SanXfer's advanced functionality, companies can embrace a new virtualization or SAN strategies with the industry's fastest and most intuitive utility. Optimized for large-scale virtualization and Cloud rollouts, SanXfer allows users to perform a Physical-to-Virtual (P2V), Virtual-to-Physical (V2P) or Physical-to-Physical (P2P) migration in under fifteen minutes.

"SanXfer greatly simplifies the transition from physical to virtual environments by creating an 'on-ramp' to VMware. The hidden benefit is the ability to migrate in and out of the cloud, thereby creating an exit strategy for customers whose needs may change over time," stated David A. Chapa, Senior Analyst at Enterprise Systems Group.

When the cost, complexity or security of data storage forces a change in data storage solutions, SanXfer steps in to easily migrate from:

  • Physical hardware to (or back from) a virtualized environment
  • A public cloud to a private cloud
  • A Fiber Channel network to/from iSCSI.

The SanXfer Editions provide value on multiple levels including simplicity, consolidation, and scalability, plus SanXfer's ROI utility proves the operational expense savings achieved with SanXfer versus other migration methods.
