VMTurbo Named "Cool Vendor" by Leading Analyst Firm

VMTurbo, provider of software to analyze, optimize and control the virtualized data center, has been included in the list of “Cool Vendors in Cloud Management, 2011”* report by Gartner, Inc.

According to the Gartner report, VMTurbo is of particular interest to “enterprise VMware and virtualization administrators as well as IT Operations staff that are seeking to reduce costs and provide enhanced support of mission critical applications that execute within virtual environments. Managed service providers and cloud providers offering solutions running on top of VMware and Hyper-V infrastructures may also find a benefit to the technology.”

The VMTurbo Virtualization Management Suite, which is packaged in a single virtual appliance, is easy to deploy and use. Installed in minutes, the appliance automatically discovers, monitors and analyzes the virtual infrastructure. A single virtual appliance can manage thousands of VMs scaling out to large enterprises and cloud environments.

“We consider our inclusion in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner confirmation of our mission to enable our customers to maximize their ROI from their virtualized infrastructure by assuring the performance of their mission critical application while maximizing their infrastructure and operational efficiencies,” said Shmuel Kliger, President and CEO, VMTurbo “VMTurbo will continue to enhance its offering to enable the IT agility required to meet the continuously fluctuating demands and increasing constraints of today’s dynamic data centers.”
