Remote Support and IT Management Just Got Easier with Citrix GoToManage

Citrix Systems has launched Citrix GoToManage, its new comprehensive product for IT management. GoToManage is a cloud-based product that enables IT professionals to provide remote support for end users, while also being able to monitor and control unattended remote machines. This new IT product complements Citrix GoToAssist Corporate for contact centers, where Citrix was the 2009 market share leader with 33.3 percent of the remote support services market.

GoToManage includes two modules, which can be purchased together or separately. GoToManage Remote Support provides the ability to deliver live end-user support and to control unattended computers and servers. GoToManage Monitoring enables IT managers and managed service providers (MSPs) to inventory, monitor and manage all of their desktop devices (PCs and Macs), servers and networks.

GoToManage Remote Support

GoToManage Remote Support makes it simple to connect to and support distributed end users and machines. Technical issues can be resolved instantly by remote IT professionals using web-based PC and Mac support to customers, end users or unattended computers and servers. Team-based functionality lets multiple support technicians share access to unattended machines, which can be grouped by machines, company, operating system or location.

Using GoToManage Remote Support, live end-user support sessions can be immediately initiated. Remote management capabilities also enable after-hours or unattended access to customers’ desktops and servers for virtual support. Other key features include easy, secure file transfer and access to remote system information for quick diagnostics.

GoToManage Monitoring

GoToManage Monitoring enables IT departments to inventory, analyze and manage all PC and Mac devices, servers and networks within their IT environment locally or worldwide. It’s simple and secure to deploy, allows for auto-discovery of every device, delivers proactive alerts for critical servers and applications in real time, monitors performance, network usage and bandwidth consumption, tracks configuration changes and much more. It also eases the headache of upgrading and maintaining machines through its automation functionality, which allows IT teams to increase productivity and reduce operating costs by automating repetitive tasks.
