One Convergence today announced fully virtualized intelligent in-line and off-load acceleration platform that takes advantage of powerful multi-core processor based 10G PCIe hardware. Emerging I/O challenges of the next-generation datacenter include low-latency, high-performance, scalable multi-core processing and virtualization support of IO acceleration functions of smart adapters.

One Convergence's Virtualized Smart IO Platform provides a comprehensive software framework, enabling Packet Processing & Classification, Security/Crypto, DPI and custom intelligent in-line processing to implement smart 10G acceleration for Network Equipment, Servers & Storage Systems. The solution comprises software running on the host and on a Freescale Semiconductor QorIQ P4080 based adapter.

Availability
The solution is expected to be available on Freescale QorIQ P4080 based adapters in Q3, 2011 and an enhanced feature release is planned for availability in Q4, 2011.
