LogLogic Enhances PCI Compliance for VMware Environments
LogLogic, the IT Data Management Company, helps achieve a major requirement in PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) by working with VMware to ensure IT Data is collected from virtualized infrastructure. To help VMware customers achieve regulatory compliance faster, LogLogic also announces it will give away its MX-Virtual virtual appliance product to the first 100 VMware vShield and VMware vCenter Server customers who sign up at Additionally as part of this partnership, LogLogic will give qualifying VMware customers product at a very aggressive ‘no haggle’ price for a limited time.

“You can’t be PCI compliant if you do not collect ALL relevant audit trails in your organization. PCI DSS Requirement 10 is clear: track and monitor all access for daily review,” said Guy Churchward, CEO of LogLogic. “LogLogic delivers virtual-environment specific log collection. Our technology allows users to track what is happening in a virtualized environment, which is required to achieve PCI DSS compliance.”

VMware and LogLogic have a history of working together as demonstrated by LogLogic’s support of VMware vCloud Director in August 2010. The two companies have also collaborated on compliance technology for VMware vCloud Datacenter Services and are working to integrate the monitoring capabilities of the VMware vShield product line with LogLogic compliance technology.

“LogLogic has shown a strong commitment to managing logs in a virtual environment to help customers achieve regulatory compliance,” said Parag Patel, vice president, Global Strategic Alliances, VMware. “We will continue to work together to help ensure organizations meet compliance requirements and strengthen their security posture.”

LogLogic delivers a virtualized environment compliance suite with direct support for VMware vCloud Director, VMware vCenter Server, VMware vSphere and the VMware vShield product line. Both enterprise and cloud providers can now automate compliance needs with LogLogic and ensure coverage for the entire vCloud Datacenter Services stack.

In addition to PCI DSS, LogLogic also supports IT Data collection and reporting for a wide range of regulatory regimes: ISO 27002, HIPAA, COBIT, SOX, ITIL, FISMA and NERC. A rich reporting suite is available for each of these regulations. LogLogic also provides a Compliance Manager that manages reporting and workflow for each of the regulatory regimes mentioned.
