BlueStacks will celebrate its company launch on May 31, 2011 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the W Taipei hotel. BlueStacks allows users to run Android applications on their x86-based Windows devices. The event will feature keynotes from CEOs, founders and corporate vice presidents from top-tier PC manufacturers and silicon vendors including Ray Chen, president and CEO of Compal, Nigel Dessau, chief marketing officer of AMD and Tim Bajarin, industry analyst for PC Magazine and principal at Creative Strategies. BlueStacks will also be exhibiting at Computex 2011 in the Nangang Exhibition Hall, room 614. The event will take place June 1 - 4.

Each speaker will share his expert opinion on the future of the PC industry, the Android applications ecosystem, the importance of tablets, convertibles, and the battle between x86 and ARM. In addition, with the official launch of BlueStacks earlier this month, Sharma will share the vision and mission of the company and discuss the importance of creating a unified and seamless software experience on PC platforms through the simultaneous use of Windows and Android applications, multi-touch enablement and groundbreaking virtualization technology.

BlueStacks, which came out of stealth earlier this month announcing a $7.6 million Series A, will enable PC manufacturers to ride the momentum behind the Android ecosystem by enabling Android applications to be run on x86-based tablets, netbooks, notebooks or all-in-one (AIO) computers. With the new convertible form factors, BlueStacks completely eliminates the need to carry two devices.
