VMinformer Launches Free Offer to VMware Certified Professionals

From now until the end of July 2011, VMinformer is offering its VMinformer Professional solution free of charge to all VMware certified professionals (VCPs) with support for up to 5 ESX/ESXi hosts for one year.   Interested VCPs simply need to register at before July 31, 2011.

VMinformer Professional provides a full audit of an organization’s VMware infrastructure in minutes and delivers accurate and relevant virtualization reports on the security posture of an organization’s virtual environment against VMware’s own v4.x Security Hardening Guidelines. It is delivered with policy templates based on CIS Benchmarks, VMware’s own hardening guidelines as well as VMinformer’s research. Product feedback can be delivered through VMinformer’s online community.

“We look forward to receiving feedback and the resulting online community discussion as the need for virtualized security continues to gain momentum across Australia in both public and private sector organizations,” said John Reeman, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, VMinformer.

VMinformer, a security, auditing and compliance solution for organizations using virtualization technologies, provides visibility and assurance of an organization’s security infrastructure and can be used both across an entire virtual infrastructure or in a more selective approach for clients, whilst maintaining the integrity of the virtual computing platform.
