Scenes from around Citrix Synergy 2011 in San Francisco

Citrix Synergy is always a fantastic event!  Citrix does a wonderful job of putting on the show, and they always offer great information during keynotes and breakout sessions, treat the press and attendees very well, offer great opportunities for networking, and they know how to throw a fantastic party!  All in all, this is one of the best trade shows that I make every effort to attend each year.

Here are a few scenes from around the show.

Waiting around for the keynote to begin.  If you forgot where you were and what you were waiting on, just look at the stage!

DJ Solomon spinning some crazy music for folks waiting for the Synergy 2011 keynote to start.  Really lively and up beat music... a nice change from some other shows.

Crowd is starting to fill up the room for the keynote at Synergy 2011

Power players Wes Wasson, Mark Templeton and Chris Fleck

Waiting for the keynote to begin.  Try to avoid a sugar coma if you can.  They don't make it easy.

Even Dilbert showed up at Citrix Synergy 2011 - Some attendees even had the chance to be featured in a comic strip!

How did VMblog get all of that wonderful video footage from the show?  Thanks to Brian Ducharme, who did one heck of a job!

Day 1 Keynote was hosted by Mark Templeton.  Here, Mark is showing off some of the amazing things with Citrix Receiver.

Day 2 Keynotes were handled by Simon Crosby. He did an excellent job of commanding the stage in true Simon Crosby fashion.

Zynga CTO on stage during Day 2 keynote at Citrix Synergy talking about Zynga's applications in the cloud.

Citrix showing off the GoToMeeting with HDFaces technology.

Walking in to a very crowded Citrix Synergy 2011 party.

Awesome private concert by Train during the Citrix Synergy 2011 show.  One of the best parties yet!

You know the party is over when you find yourself sitting at the airport waiting to go home!  See you at Citrix Synergy 2012.
