Virtual Bridges, today announced it has been recognized by
Everything Channel in
CRN’s new
Virtualization 100 list. Featuring the top 100 vendors in the virtualization space as identified by the editorial staff of
CRN, the list serves as the de facto resource by which VARs can begin to evaluate the best virtualization products for their business. Virtual Bridges was named to the Virtualization 100 for its innovative approach to desktop virtualization, offering integrated VDI, offline VDI and remote branch solutions.
According to the CRN Fast Growth Study, virtualization is the number one technology that VARs are investing in over the next year. The CRN Virtualization 100 list highlights the most compelling virtualization vendors and solutions to best meet the growing needs of the channel. These featured vendors were selected based on their ability to help VARs transform themselves into true service providers and help organizations and enterprises take advantage of the ease, flexibility, scalability, elasticity and cost savings that leveraging virtualization has to offer.
Offering the industry’s only “VDI Gen2” solution, Virtual Bridges has set a new standard for desktop virtualization. With Virtual Bridges VERDE, VDI moves beyond the data center and LAN-bound scenarios to deliver value to off-line users, branch users and server-hosted users, all from the same management interface.
“From server to storage to desktop virtualization, this technology will become a mainstay for businesses large and small and one of the more profitable technologies for VARs to integrate and sell,” said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director, Everything Channel. “The Virtualization 100 list provides showcases the best virtualization technology solutions to help VARs navigate the virtualization landscape and determine which vendor is best suited to meet their unique needs.”
“Virtualization is one of the hottest investments companies are making today and now that VDI Gen2 solutions are available, anytime, anywhere access to virtual desktops is finally a reality,” said Jim Curtin, CEO of Virtual Bridges. “We’re thrilled to be named among the most compelling virtualization solutions and look forward to working even closer with our reseller partners to deliver on the promise of VDI.”
CRN Magazine is the latest to recognize the strength of Virtual Bridges VERDE. The company was recently named a MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Innovation Showcase finalist and a “Cool Vendor” in Personal Computing by Gartner.
A sample of the Virtualization 100 was featured in the May 23rd issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.crn.com.
