Moving to capitalize on its continued growth in worldwide markets, eG Innovations, Inc., an award-winning global supplier of business service monitoring software for physical, virtual and cloud-based infrastructure, announced today that it has expanded its presence in London, UK, to fuel expansion of its sales and engineering activities there as well as in other parts of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
“We now have customers in 27 countries, have expanded our base by over one-third in the last year, and saw order bookings shoot up by 50 percent in 2010-2011,” said Srinivas Ramanathan, founder, president and CEO of eG Innovations.
“We have good customer traction in Europe, particularly in server and desktop virtualization,” said Keith Girt, regional sales manager for eG Innovations in the UK. “We already support several global Fortune 500 organizations in different regions of Europe, and our UK centre will support continued growth throughout EMEA. Our channel partners throughout EMEA will also benefit from near-shore sales and engineering support.”
In the last year, eG Innovations has acquired several customers in EMEA. Recent wins include GSF in France, Infrassure in Switzerland, Ellerines Furnishers in South Africa, and Union Solutions in the UK. Referring to Union Solutions’ decision to use eG Enterprise as the platform for its managed services offering, Daimon Brown, consulting partner at Union Solutions, said, "At Union Solutions, we deliver managed services for clients remotely, so managing the complexity that virtualization introduces -- for virtual servers and desktops -- is a key focus for us. Through its partnership with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), eG has its solution deployed as part of CSC’s Dynamic Desktop offering at several sites across the UK and other parts of Europe including leading government departments, financial services and manufacturing companies. “Our solutions are well adapted to the requirements of the European market, and are tested on most common European operating environments,” said Girt. “Our monitoring and reporting console is already localized for European languages, including German, French, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.”
