VMware, Inc., the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, today unveiled the speaker lineup and sponsorship list for the leading virtualization and cloud infrastructure industry event of the year, VMworld 2011.
Underscoring the conference theme, "Your Cloud, Own It," VMworld 2011 in Las Vegas will feature more than 175 unique breakout sessions from VMware and its ecosystem of partners and customers that are driving innovation in the virtualization and cloud computing industry. On Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 8 a.m. PDT VMware CTO and Senior Vice President of R&D Steve Herrod will demonstrate the industry's first comprehensive cloud infrastructure suite, including VMware vSphere® 5, as well as cutting-edge technologies helping enterprises better serve their employees in a world of increasing change. VMworld 2011 will feature more than 20 lab topics with 18,000 lab seats conducting up to 480 simultaneous lab sessions during the four-day event. In addition, this year VMworld connects attendees directly with subject-matter authorities through the Knowledge Experts Program. These highly respected members of the VMware community – composed of customers, bloggers and VMware employees – will conduct and participate in breakout sessions and group discussions.
