Dell today announced Vivek Kundra, former White House Chief Information Officer,
and Michelle Bailey, Research Vice President for IDC’s Enterprise
Platforms and Datacenter Trends, as the latest additions to the Dell World 2011 speaker
lineup.
Kundra, now a fellow at Harvard University, was the first CIO of the United
States, appointed by President Obama. He will follow Michael Dell’s keynote at the show, “Unlocking Opportunity
through Innovation.”
Bailey is responsible for IDC's Worldwide Datacenter Trends and Strategies
research group, specializing in forecasting the adoption of mature and
disruptive datacenter infrastructure, as well as consulting with IT buyers to
evaluate the impact of future technologies on their IT strategy, operations and
facilities. Bailey will join Brad Anderson, senior vice president of Dell’s
Enterprise Solutions group, for a keynote focused on the latest in data center
trends.
