Teradici, the developer of the innovative PC-over-IP
(PCoIP) protocol that enables a true PC experience for desktop
virtualization, announced today that it will be showcasing its full range of
PC-over-IP solutions in booth #1013 at VMworld 2011 taking place in Las Vegas,
August 29 – September 1.
Teradici will exhibit a broad range of live demonstrations and partner
announcements highlighting major updates to its PCoIP technology, including:
- Datacenter solutions such as the new APEX 2800 server
offload card
- Network solutions for optimization of VDI traffic
- VDI management and performance monitoring solutions
- PCoIP zero client solutions for knowledge worker and
workstation market ranging from standalone devices to Power-over-Ethernet VoIP
phones, integrated monitors, and more
Additionally, at the conference, Teradici will be participating in two
breakout sessions:
- Randy Groves, CTO, will be participating in a
one hour breakout session on Aug 31 at 1:00 PM; the session will provide a
technical overview of the PCoIP protocol and the new capabilities which include
significant reductions in WAN bandwidth consumption, network optimization and
management enhancements, as well as the new APEX 2800 PCoIP server offload card
for VDI servers, as well as bandwidth and CPU utilization benchmark data that
demonstrates the benefits of these new capabilities.
- Stu Robinson, director of systems engineering,
will present a 30-minute session on Aug 30 at 9:50 AM in the Solutions Exchange
Theater focused on network considerations for PCoIP deployments to ensure a
successful VDI deployment.
