Zenoss Extends Heterogeneous Cloud Management with Server Monitoring for OpenStack

Zenoss, Inc., a leading provider of management software for physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT infrastructures, today announced the availability of their monitoring solution for servers deployed in compute clouds based in OpenStack. The new capability is free and open source, allowing consumers of OpenStack clouds to maintain real-time inventory, health and performance of their servers and applications deployed in cloud.

With this release, Zenoss adds to its growing customer list of virtualization platforms and physical infrastructures by offering native management for yet another leading cloud platform.  The benefit for users is unified service assurance for real-world, hybrid IT that spans a broad spectrum of deployment models and cloud service providers.

"With its open approach, OpenStack is expanding its presence and market impact every day," said Bill Karpovich, CEO of Zenoss. "It's only natural that we provide an open source management solution for the growing number of users consuming services based on OpenStack."
