Coraid Wins Execullence Award for Best Virtualization Company at the ExecEvent
Coraid Inc., a leading developer of Ethernet SAN solutions with more than 1,400 customers, announced that it has won the Execullence Award for Best Virtualization Company at the ExecEvent for Virtualization and Cloud held September 14-16 in Santa Clara, Calif. Winners were selected by attending press and analysts at the storage technology industry networking event.

"We created the Execullence Awards to allow our attendees, industry insiders, a way to recognize and choose companies and technologies that stand out amongst their peers. Coraid rose to the top," said Greg Duplessie, founder of the ExecEvent. "Congratulations to all of our Execullence Award winners. Recognition for your industry-leading technology is well-deserved."

The ExecEvent is an exclusive networking event for storage industry executives. Its mission is to create a compelling networking event for industry insiders -- one that focuses on networking and building relationships and that does not require exhibiting or catering to end-users. The ExecEvent provides educational speaking topics and a spotlight for emerging products or companies.

"Customers tell us daily that legacy storage solutions are crippling the performance and ROI of their virtualization projects. Coraid's Ethernet SAN delivers a 5-8x boost in price-performance, while enabling self-service from the hypervisor -- that's a huge contrast," said Kevin Brown, CEO of Coraid. "Winning the Execullence Award for Best Virtualization Company highlights how our EtherDrive storage arrays can address one of today's biggest data center challenges."

The company recently unveiled its EtherFlash solution, enabling industry-leading price performance for solid-state storage in mixed data center environments. Coraid CEO Kevin Brown will be presenting at the ExecEvent at the IP Expo trade show in London, UK, October 19-20th, 2011.
