Dell KACE Identified as Leader in EMA Client Lifecycle Management Radar Report

Today, Dell KACE announced its award-winning Dell KACE family of systems management appliances have been honored by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) in its Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Radar Report. The company was identified as a "Value Leader" for both small-medium business (SMB) and enterprise environments. Additionally, EMA has recognized Dell KACE as the most economical systems management solution in the market.

"Value in any systems management solution can be identified by evaluating cost elements versus breadth of functionality and the Dell KACE Appliances successfully perform well in both criteria," said Steve Brasen, managing research director for EMA. "In our evaluation, Dell KACE was a clear leader based on its aggressive pricing structure and its ability to deliver a competitive advantage over comparable software-based platforms. While the company has historically focused on small- and medium-sized organizations, we believe the KACE Appliances are poised to become a leading contender in the enterprise space as well."

The EMA Radar Report(TM) for Client Lifecycle Management provides an analysis of the leading solution suites to guide organizations toward the most effective product set to meet their needs. The EMA evaluation crosses five distinct pillars indicating value: functionality, price advantage, architecture and integration, deployment and administration, and vendor strength. In addition, it includes functional comparisons and reviews around specific features such as asset management, system deployment, application management, patching and service desk, as well as security and compliance.

"Our vision at Dell KACE has always been to provide an appliance-based approach to systems management that is more accessible to systems administrators saving them time, while saving money for their organizations," said Rob Meinhardt, general manager for KACE. "This vision is proven in thousands of real world customer situations and we are excited to be recognized by EMA for the value story that KACE Appliances bring to the market."
