Attenda Limited, the Business Critical IT company, today announced that its new Self Managed VM public cloud service has achieved VMware vCloud Powered status, illustrating to Clients that the company's latest cloud services are underpinned by VMware's leading virtualization and cloud computing technology, namely VMware vSphere and VMware vCloud Director. A member of the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP), Attenda provides its Self Managed VM VMware vCloud Powered service as a set of cloud computing services across a common platform, supporting the largest set of existing applications and offering distinctive application mobility uniquely available from VMware.

Attenda sought VMware vCloud Powered validation in order to promote the feature rich technology and showcase the extent of Attenda's expertise that is underpinning it. As a validated provider, Attenda can now provide users with enhanced responsiveness and agility, with reduced IT costs through increased consolidation, task automation and simplified management. The service debuted on October 17th, 2011.
