DynamicOps Wins Innovator Award at UP 2011 Cloud Conference

DynamicOps, provider of the Operations Virtualization platform that enables unified cloud automation and management, today announced that it has been honored with the UP 2011 Cloud Award for “Overall Most Innovative Cloud Computing Provider: Audience Choice.” Winners were announced at the UP 2011 Conference, which took place December 5 – 6, 2011 in Mountain View, California.

“This award is particularly gratifying because the people who chose us are IT professionals that deal with cloud computing on a daily basis. They are intimately familiar with the challenges inherent in many cloud solutions that lack key components, don’t fit well in existing environments, and can’t easily scale,” said Leslie Muller, Chief Technology Officer and Founder of DynamicOps. “Like our customers, the UP audience members recognized that DynamicOps’ unique approach and breakthrough technologies make it easy to build complex private clouds extremely quickly.”

UP 2011 recognizes companies that offer the most outstanding cloud computing solution, measured by technical innovation, marketability, and likelihood to be a market leader. DynamicOps’ nomination was one of more than 350 submissions received from emerging and next-generation cloud companies for this year’s awards. Judges included James Staten, VP and Principal Analyst at Forrester, Dave Bartoletti, Senior Analyst at Taneja Group, Jeff Nick, Senior VP and CTO at EMC, and Clemente Cohen, Senior VP at CA Technologies. DynamicOps was selected as a finalist and, after the finalists presented their companies at the UP conference, audience members voted and chose DynamicOps as the overall most innovative cloud company.

The recognition by UP comes on the heels of two other key industry accolades: DynamicOps recently won “Best of VMworld 2011 for Private Cloud” and was named “2011 Cool Vendor in Cloud Management” by Gartner Research.
