Veeam Software Selects Arrow ECS as a North American Value-Added Distributor

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a business segment of Arrow Electronics, Inc., and virtualization and data-protection innovator Veeam Software have signed a North American distribution agreement.

Arrow ECS will assist Veeam with increasing its presence in the IT channel through comprehensive support in new reseller recruitment, as well as presales technical support and demand generation for solution providers selling Veeam technology.

“The addition of Veeam to our portfolio is a direct response to demand from our solution providers,” said Mike Nowlan, vice president of the North America security, virtualization and networking practices for Arrow ECS. “Veeam is an innovator in virtual infrastructure management and data protection. Its solutions also bridge the gap between VMware and enterprise-management systems from Microsoft and HP.”

Veeam products that Arrow ECS offers include:

  • Veeam Backup & Replication™: provides fast, flexible and reliable recovery of virtualized applications and data for both VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
  • Veeam nworks: extends deep enterprise monitoring to VMware environments using Microsoft System Center with the nworks Management Pack™ and HP Operations Manager with nworks Smart Plug-in™, eliminating the need for a separate monitoring framework.
  • Veeam ONE™: provides a single, easy-to-use solution for real-time monitoring, capacity planning, change tracking, documentation, and management reporting of vSphere environments.

“Veeam is pleased to add Arrow ECS as a top value-added distributor,” said Chris Moore, Americas channel director at Veeam. “In addition to its long-standing relationship with VMware and large community of solution providers that sell virtualization solutions, Arrow ECS provides extensive support to the channel. We look forward to working with Arrow ECS to increase market share for our solutions.”
