Proact, Europe's leading storage integrator and cloud services provider, is
today officially launching in the UK at Cloud Expo Europe with the rebranding of
B2net. The move follows the acquisition of B2net by Proact in April 2011.
B2net has been
operating in the UK for over 10 years and has established itself as an award
winning technology innovator and Enterprise Cloud Service Provider, becoming the
number one storage & virtualisation integrator in the country, with
customers in the financial, legal, media and public sector.
The launch of Proact
will see the company delivering additional value to its international customers
through shared offerings and increased knowledge as part of the
acquisition.
Proact in the UK will
be building on the heritage of B2net and the established relationships that it
has developed with its clients across various industries over many years. Proact
will continue to drive change and process for its customers, by partnering with
some of the world's leading storage, virtualisation and network vendors, such as
NetApp, EMC, VMware and Cisco and continuing the rapid expansion of the Proact
Enterprise Cloud footprint across Europe.
Jason Clark, CEO of
Proact UK comments, "Today marks the next exciting step in the company's growth.
The opportunity to combine these companies allows us to expand our skills,
experience and offerings at the European level, something that will benefit all
of our customers as we help them solve their challenges and transform how they
deliver IT services. The last 3-years have seen a huge growth in the number of
customers selecting Proact as their Enterprise Cloud Provider. Our ability to
deliver a contracted service level is very attractive to our customers, as more
and more of them look to Proact to help them innovate and drive down the cost of
delivering IT."
He continues, "The
cultural and business fit between the B2net and Proact was similar, so our
integration process over the last few months has been very straight forward. The
combined company will being looking to build on its market leading position
going forward."
Proact has 170
employees across 5 locations in the UK with a turnover of £52
million.
Proact's official
launch into the UK sees the demonstration of ‘Proact FlexPod as a Service' at
Cloud Expo Europe. Delegates are invited to booth 211 to see the FlexPod as a
service offering from Proact, built on a fully integrated flexible, scalable,
infrastructure from VMware, Cisco and NetApp.
