Unitek Education, a leader in the IT training industry and certified Cisco
Learning Partner (CLP), has revamped its official Cisco curriculum for 2012.
Unitek Education’s Cisco training
courses have gained tremendous traction throughout the IT community due to their
focus on training quality and customer service. The result – Unitek Education is
the only IT training vendor in the United States to achieve dual status of
Microsoft Gold Partner for Learning Solutions (Gold CPLS) and Cisco Learning
Partner (CLP).
The newly upgraded Cisco training includes changes to the Implementing Cisco
Data Center Unified Fabric, Data Center Unified Computing Design, and Data
Center Unified Computing Implementation training classes. These are advanced
training courses that require completion of Unitek Education’s acclaimed CCNA
Cisco Bootcamp. All classes are taught by an experienced and certified Cisco
instructor.
The Cisco data center and virtualization
training courses now deliver more trouble shooting scenarios, real-world
examples, hands-on practice configuring the most recent Cisco Unified Computing
Solutions, and ways to build scalable, reliable, and intelligent Data Center
Virtualization solutions.
Each training course is designed with specific learning outcomes. Every
participant walks away with enhanced and newly acquired skill sets to leverage
their IT expertise and career after completing each course.
Students who enroll in the Implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Fabric
course learn the key components and procedures to install, configure, manage,
and troubleshoot the Cisco Nexus 7000 and 5000 Switches in the network and SAN
environments. The class contains three brand new activities pertaining to
failure scenarios that bring to life the information taught in the course.
The Data Center Unified Computing Design course’s robust curriculum adeptly
describes the Cisco Data Center virtualization solutions, and explains how to
evaluate existing Data Center Infrastructure. The course systematically teaches
students the process of determining the design requirements for a Cisco Data
Center virtualization solution based on a variety of Cisco products.
The newly updated Data Center Unified Computing Implementation class walks
current and prospective Data Center Administrators through Cisco’s UCS B-series
and C-series components, while paying special attention to systems architecture,
installation and administration. The course places a special emphasis on how to
install, configure and maintain a Cisco UCS installation in a wide variety of
environments. Students use hands-on configuration labs throughout the course to
reinforce the information. Each participant has the opportunity to build a
complete solution.
