New PowerShell.com Webcast Introduces PowerCLI for Automating vSphere

PowerShell.com, the online resource for Windows PowerShell users to communicate, collaborate and learn about the platform, announced a new episode in the “PowerHour” webcast series featuring popular PowerShell experts. The latest webcast in the series, “VMware PowerCLI: First Steps,” will air March 28, 2012 at 12 p.m. CT and will be led by VMware vExpert, author of the “PowerCLI Reference” book and speaker, Luc Dekens.

“PowerCLI is a free PowerShell snap-in provided by VMware to manage vSphere environments,” said David Fargo, editor-in-chief at PowerShell.com. “Virtualization and automation expert, Luc Dekens, will introduce PowerCLI cmdlets to attendees and they will walk away knowing how to generate simple reports, gather performance data and more using PowerCLI.”
