VKernel Addresses Maximizing Virtual Machine Performance

VKernel, the number one provider of capacity planning and performance monitoring products for virtualized data centers and cloud environments, today announced a new white paper entitled, “Maximizing Virtual Machine Performance” and a VM performance podcast series by VKernel/Quest vExpert and Evangelist, Mattias Sundling.

“A well-tuned foundation enables you to make better use of your virtual infrastructure. Optimizing CPU, memory, disk and network will improve performance and make your virtual environment more efficient to manage,” says Mattias. “I have spent the last 10 years working as a Consultant and Evangelist at VKernel/Quest focusing on virtualization. Over the years, I have seen a lot of mistakes and picked up these useful performance tuning methods.”

This white paper is a guide to performance tuning in order to maximize VM performance in your environment. Based on the “Maximizing Virtual Machine Performance” white paper, Mattias is featured in a three-part podcast series with VKernel Product Manager, Alex Rosemblat, and VKernel CMO, Bryan Semple. In these podcasts, Mattias, Alex and Bryan dive into CPU, memory, disk, network and Guest OS optimization in order to maintain optimal VM performance.
