Xeround, the
Cloud Database Company, today announced the availability of their database-as-a-service for MySQL applications on HP Cloud Services (
http://hpcloud.com).
Xeround is already available on Amazon EC2, Rackspace, Heroku, and
Engine Yard. This latest support for HP Cloud Services is another
milestone in Xeround's continuous expansion to offer its popular cloud
database on additional cloud providers and platforms -- allowing users
the choice to run their Xeround Database with their preferred cloud
vendor.
When signing up for Xeround, users can now choose to create their cloud
database on HP's public cloud infrastructure. Initially, Xeround offers
its Xeround FREE edition in beta on HP Cloud Services, with additional plans being rolled out in the coming months.
Xeround's native cloud technology, engineered from the ground up for the
cloud environment, is the most robust solution for running MySQL in the
cloud. Xeround Cloud Database ensures high availability and scalability
of MySQL applications all in a zero-management, simple, database
service.
"We're excited to offer Xeround Cloud Database on HP Cloud Services,"
said Razi Sharir, CEO of Xeround. "HP Cloud Services users can now enjoy
no downtime and unlimited scalability for their MySQL database in the
cloud with just one click."
