ePlus Unveils Virtual and Physical Demonstration Centers for Customers

ePlus inc. announced today that its Virtual Labs and Demonstration Centers are open for customers to test drive the latest technologies. A component of the ePlus Service Advantage offering, ePlus customers can demonstrate the latest solutions in a hands-on environment—physically or virtually—configured to meet their specifications for proof of concept through simulated production activities. ePlus’ facilities are targeted at both full solutions and point product demonstrations, including cloud, and offer both combined and individual solutions from the top vendors across a range of critical technologies such as:

  • Data Center: Major reference architectures, including industry leading virtualization, networking, servers, and storage
  • Security: Core network, threat defense, wireless/mobility, Web application services, identity management, and network access control
  • Collaboration: TelePresence, video, and unified communications; social collaboration software; enterprise IM; and mobile connectivity

ePlus’ physical and virtual proof of concept (POC) labs are built on the latest virtualization, networking, and storage technologies. Customers can schedule time in these labs to get their local environment and test performance, compatibility, and configuration at the application, network, server, and storage levels.

“Understanding and adopting the latest technology is critical for organizations to secure their competitive edge,” said Mark Marron, president of ePlus Technology. “By being able to see key technologies in action through our virtual labs and demonstration centers, customers know exactly what they’re getting before making important purchasing decisions. By increasing their comfort level and knowledge of a host of transformational technology solutions, we help them improve decision making and reduce risk.”
