Go to VMworld 2012 for Free - Win a Trip
VMworld 2012 in San Francisco is fast approaching!  Less than 60 days away now.  And some virtualization enthusiasts are still trying to figure out how they will be able to get there.

Well if your company isn't going to pick up the tab this year, you might want to hop on over to vDestination, a virtualization Web site run by one of my fellow VMware vExperts, Greg Stuart.  Once again, Greg has teamed up with the good folks from Symantec, Veeam and Train Signal to give away a free full conference ticket to VMworld 2012, airfare to San Francisco (up to $500 USD), and a 5 night hotel stay from Sunday-Thursday.  This could be your golden opportunity to make it to this year's largest virtualization event!

The contest is based on need and need alone.

Entry: To enter this contest, post one comment/reply to this blog posting on vDestination and include the following:
  • Describe why you need to go to VMworld 2012
  • What are you most looking forward to?
  • And how do you plan on paying it forward?
Remember to leave the following information:
  • First and last name
  • Email address to contact you if you win
  • Twitter handle (if you have one) is welcome but not required

The contest is now live and will end on Tuesday July 10th at 5pm EST. No entries will be taken after the contest closes on the 10th. After deliberation by the panel of vExpert judges, a winner will be chosen and then announced on Monday July 16th.

For all of the details and to enter the contest, see Greg's original blog post:
