Embotics Corporation, a pioneer in virtualisation and automated cloud management, today
announced that it has signed distribution agreements with Prianto and BGS
Netherlands. Through these agreements both companies will now be offering their
reseller partners Embotics V-Commander, a virtualisation and private cloud
management product. These resellers will now be able to help their customers
realise immediate savings through better management of their virtual
estates.
"We are
very pleased to have Prianto and BGS Netherlands on board, as both companies
have a great track record in developing profitable and sustainable partner
channels. We see them as key distribution partners as we expand into the UK and
Benelux markets," said Colin Wright, vice president for EMEA at Embotics. "When
you add these agreements to the pan-European distribution agreement we signed
with Magirus at the start of the year, it is a clear indication of the value
that the channel sees in Embotics V-Commander. If resellers are going to achieve
additional revenues from virtualisation in the future they need to demonstrate
added value to their customers. With Embotics V-Commander, resellers can help
organisations to ensure operational efficiency and deliver cost and resource
savings in a matter of weeks."
Embotics
has signed distribution agreements with both Prianto's UK and Netherlands
operations. Prianto was set up to address the market need for specialised
distribution focusing on identifying leading-edge technology vendors who can
provide resellers with new complementary products that can give them a
commercial edge. BGS Netherlands has 25 years' experience in the enterprise
hardware and software markets. The company carries a highly-technical range of
cloud and virtualisation products and has successfully taken these products to
market within the region. These skills and experience made both Prianto and BGS
Netherlands ideal distribution partners for Embotics as it makes inroads into
Europe.
Embotics
V-Commander can be installed and configured in a matter of minutes, providing a
360-degree view of virtual and private cloud environments. Comprehensive
self-service functionality enables users to provision VMs themselves and
automate the end-to-end workflow process, while offering chargeback and
IT cost
analysis. This
can help resellers identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in their virtual data
centres while at the same time dramatically lowering the costs of deploying
private clouds.
Rashied
Akrum, managing director at Prianto, said: "We are always looking to work with
innovative technology companies and Embotics certainly fits the bill. With cloud
services threatening to damage their revenues, resellers need to innovate and
broaden their product offerings. Embotics V-Commander provides resellers with
the tools to position themselves as trusted advisors and at the same time help
them to drive greater value from their customers' data centre and virtualisation
investments."
"We are
very excited to be working with Embotics," said Rob Mooij, CTO at BGS. "Embotics
V-Commander complements our existing cloud and virtualisation offerings. We
believe that such an easy to deploy product presents resellers with a great
business opportunity. We see it as very much a low risk, high reward proposition
for many resellers as they look to derive additional revenue from virtualisation
and cloud computing."
