Q: What do you get when you combine a techie, IT evangelist, industry expert and SolarWinds product specialist? A: A SolarWinds Head Geek. SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, today introduced its latest lineup of Head Geeks – Lawrence Garvin and Patrick Hubbard.
In their roles as Head Geeks, Lawrence and Patrick will regularly interact with IT pros and SolarWinds customers and provide them with IT industry and product knowledge as well as helpful content including tips and how-tos.
IT pros can ask the Head Geeks in-depth questions about SolarWinds product capabilities or any network and systems management pain points or simply strike up a conversation on a number of SolarWinds’ forums or channels such as thwack, Geek Speak, Twitter and Facebook, to name a few. There, the Head Geeks will address IT management issues and trends and demonstrate how users can implement a variety of solutions in their unique environments.
“Just as SolarWinds has a unique connection with IT end users, the Head Geeks also have real-world IT knowledge – they can relate to the challenges and demands IT pros face and they understand the solutions they seek,” said Sanjay Castelino, VP and market leader, SolarWinds. “Lawrence and Patrick have relationships with IT guys because they are IT guys and can chat about anything from servers to cyborgs.”
