MokaFive, whose products provide a secure computing experience
from any device, today announced Dave Robbins has joined the company as its
chief executive officer (CEO). With more than 25 years of senior management
experience at private and public companies-including a decade leading the
pioneering endpoint-management software company BigFix-Robbins has a successful
track record building dynamic, high-performance teams as well as a wealth of
knowledge in mobility and endpoint management.
At
MokaFive, Robbins will be growing the company's presence in the US and abroad.
He succeeds Dale Fuller, who will continue to serve on the company's
board.
"If I
had to choose one word to describe Dave, it would be ‘leader,'" said Fuller.
"From his time at BigFix-where he led a successful acquisition-Dave consistently
demonstrates the passion, focus and knowledge that is necessary to propel
companies into industry leaders. I am thrilled to welcome Dave to
MokaFive."
Robbins previously served as chairman, president and CEO
of BigFix, Inc., a leader in systems and security management, which was acquired
by IBM in August 2010.
"I
couldn't be more excited about this new challenge. MokaFive's unique,
client-side approach to device management represents the next wave in the
management of distributed end points," said Robbins. "We have a tremendous
opportunity to help companies effectively deal with today's biggest enterprise
challenge: how to maximize employee productivity, while keeping corporate data
and applications secure on an increasing range of
devices."
Robbins previously served as CEO of enterprise software
and services companies including Quantivo, Quippe Technologies and Lucidity,
Inc. He also was COO of Citadon, and vice president of product management and
services at UltraData. Prior to that, Robbins held various positions with ADP
and Progressive Insurance Company over the course of 12 years.
