Wow, I wanted to send out a quick post to say thank you to the wonderful folks who run and operate the national VMUG organization and the VMUG Voice newsletter. And of course, a shout out to all of the amazing people who participate and lead their local VMUG chapters, especially to the awesome group in Austin, TX (my VMUG chapter) led by our fearless leader, Gus Chavira.
I'm extremely honored to be featured on this month's VMUG Voice newsletter -- January 2013. A very cool honor indeed to be a part of this great list of bloggers that have been featured in the months before me. What a nice thing for VMware and the user group to do for the blogger community members.
I'll take this opportunity to give a plug back to a worthy group as part of my saying thanks. If you are a VMware user, and you haven't yet joined your local VMUG, do so... now! This is a valuable resource, so take advantage of it. And yes, it's free... you can't beat that price tag.
Through VMUG Voice, VMware users can:
- Read the latest about VMware products and enhancements
- Learn through white papers and case studies of successful VMware
applications
- Take advantage of VMware tips shared by other professionals, including
expert bloggers
- Discover how affiliated vendors can help maximize their productivity and
success
- Learn about upcoming VMware and VMUG events
- Find out how VMUG chapters are educating their members
Check out the archive listing of past VMUG Voice issues here.
And be sure to check out the January 2013 issue, with me, David Marshall from VMblog.com and InfoWorld's Virtualization Report as the featured blogger. Thanks again!
