VMTurbo Partners with Net One Systems, Lands IDC Frontier as Customer

VMTurbo, the leading provider of software-defined control for cloud and virtualized environments, today announced that it has partnered with Net One Systems, a leading network services reseller in Japan, to distribute VMTurbo Operations Manager. With the partnership, IDC Frontier, an innovative provider of data center solutions, selected VMTurbo to address the challenges associated with operating, optimizing and controlling their virtualized infrastructure.

"Adding VMTurbo to our portfolio of competitive and innovative IT solutions caters directly to our customers' business needs," said Fumihiko Shinoura, executive officer of Net One Systems. "We are seeing the demand for advanced virtualization and cloud solutions escalate, and bringing VMTurbo on board enables us to offer a transformative, automated IT operations solution that ensures cloud and virtualized environments are operating in the most optimized state."

Virtualization Initiatives Shift from Consolidation to Improving IT Operations and Service Delivery

As the focus of virtualization deployments shifts from consolidation to improving IT operations and service delivery, VMTurbo delivers a new approach to meet the challenges associated with planning, deploying, managing and maintaining these complex virtual and cloud environments. Rather than simply collecting data and providing alerts, the product's software-defined control offloads and automates decision-making from operational staff-reducing time spent troubleshooting and maximizing infrastructure utilization. IDC Frontier quickly recognized the value offered by VMTurbo and the positive impact VMTurbo Operations Manager will have on differentiating their service delivery. By selecting VMTurbo, IDC Frontier is increasing its ability to assure service delivery and value to their customers.

"As one of the largest service providers in the Japanese market, we look for IT operations solutions that increase scalability and assure service delivery for business customers running applications in the IDC Frontier cloud," said Noriaki Terakado, general manager, Service Development Department Technology Division at IDC Frontier. "Selecting VMTurbo was an easy decision as it delivers on all these criteria-offering a closed-loop solution for operations management."

"Net One Systems is leading the charge in solving the real challenges their customers are experiencing in managing cloud services and IT operations in virtualized data centers. They are capitalizing on the opportunities to drive operational efficiencies and capital cost savings, and we look forward to working with such a respected solutions provider in the important Japanese market," said N. Louis Shipley, president and chief executive officer at VMTurbo. "IDC Frontier's decision to select VMTurbo Operations Manager is a great example of leading organizations embracing a new approach to controlling their virtual infrastructure and raising the consistency of service delivery."
