Virtual Bridges, Inc. today announced the appointment of Mike LaPeters as vice president of worldwide sales, to drive the expansion of the company’s direct and channel efforts into new markets worldwide.
LaPeters brings 16 years of experience in building and leading sales organizations and channels for storage and infrastructure software products, most recently as vice president of worldwide sales for VeloBit, an SSD caching and VDI storage optimization provider. Prior to VeloBit, he was vice president of North American sales for AVG Technologies, with overall responsibility for the company’s SMB business. LaPeters joined AVG from CA Technologies, where he was vice president of channels and drove $75M in annual recovery management revenue through a channel of 3,300 VARs. He also served as vice president of worldwide sales and services for Core Security and vice president of worldwide sales for Winternals (acquired by Microsoft) and held roles at VERITAS, Seagate Software and Arcada.
