Lenovo to Offer VMware vSphere with Operations Management in North America

Lenovo today announced an expansion of its ThinkServer partner solution portfolio with VMware vSphere with Operations Management. The solution is available directly through Lenovo and Lenovo business partners in North America. Lenovo has fully tested and validated VMware vSphere with Operations Management with ThinkServer enterprise-grade servers.

VMware vSphere with Operations Management offers a virtualization platform with insight to IT capacity and performance, and is designed to maximize performance and availability of business critical applications at high service levels. According to a recent research report1, customers who deploy VMware vSphere with Operations Management typically increase their ROI beyond running vSphere alone. For example:

  • 40 percent increase in capacity utilization
  • 37 percent increase in consolidation ratios
  • 26 percent decrease in time required for diagnostics and problem resolution
