5nine Software Announces Agentless Security Plug-in for Microsoft System Center 2012

5nine Software delivers agentless/host-based security for all versions of Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V and Hyper-V Server, and today announced the availability of their agentless security plug-in for Microsoft System Center.

5nine Security for Hyper-V delivers a multi-layered agentless security solution including anti-virus, virtual firewall and intrusion detection (IDS). Now this remarkable product is available with a plug-in to Microsoft System Center, which allows all features and functions of this security solution to be set up and managed through the System Center Virtual Machine Manager controls. This integration is seamless and builds on the architecture of System Center Virtual Machine Manager extensions.

The 5nine Security for Hyper-V System Center Virtual Machine Manager plug-in runs on Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 Hyper-V, Windows 8 and 8.1, as well as Hyper-V Server 2012 and 2012 R2.
