Liquidware Labs Named a 2013 Emerging Vendor by CRN Magazine

Liquidware Labs, the leading provider of desktop transformation software solutions, announced today it has been named a 2013 Emerging Technology vendor by UBM Tech Channel's CRN Magazine. The annual list highlights hot tech startups making an impact on the channel and an impression on the tech industry as a whole. These up-and-coming technology vendors have recently introduced a new product or technology that is not only innovative, but generates the high margins solution providers require in today's competitive marketplace.

This recognition was the second in 2013 by CRN, which earlier this year, named Liquidware Labs to its 2013 Virtualization 50 list. The Virtualization 50 annual listing highlights the companies with the most innovative virtualization solutions available today.

Liquidware Labs is helping to change the way companies deliver desktops.  With its unique Stratusphere solutions, desktop administrators can gain much more visibility into the applications, processes, users and desktop resources that are utilized throughout an enterprise. The company's innovative ProfileUnity FlexApp solution decouples user persona, data and applications from the OS and hardware to support flexible anytime, anywhere, any device delivery of desktops.  All of the company's solutions are available on a low overhead virtual appliance and are direct-to-use with minimal time for installation, configuration and setup.  Unlike many of its competitors who need to support legacy software built for physical environments, Liquidware Labs software is purpose-built for virtual while managing physical, allowing companies to leverage a single console for all their desktops. Since its founding in 2009, Liquidware Labs has built a substantial global network of VAR and distribution channel partners, who have made a commitment to developing deep expertise in the company's desktop virtualization transformation methodology and solutions.

"Any technology vendor can claim to offer innovative products and groundbreaking technology, but only a select group can truly impact the marketplace with their offerings," said Robert Faletra, CEO, UBM Tech Channel. "The companies named to the 2013 Emerging Vendor list offer solutions that deliver as promised while creating the high margins that solution providers demand. We congratulate all the vendors for their commitment to delivering technological innovations that map to the needs of the dynamic channel market."

The vendors that make up the CRN Emerging Technology Vendor list were founded in 2007 or later, and have revenue under $1 billion. To view the list and read the editorial accompaniment visit starting August 12. The list will also be featured in the August issue of CRN magazine.

"Liquidware Labs suite of products is strategically important to VARs who want to add desktop virtualization software and services to their portfolio," said Chris Akerberg, president and COO of Liquidware Labs.  "We offer one of the surest paths to competency and success, enabling our partners to provide critical guidance and support to their customers for desktop virtualization projects.  We continue to innovate our product roadmap to provide the best price/performance value on the market today across all desktop platforms, including VMware, Citrix and physical.  Our advancements enable continuous development for our partners, equipping them to propel their customers to new levels of desktop efficiency, performance and control.  We are pleased at the ongoing recognition by CRN of our strong value proposition and commitment to the channel and their customers."

Liquidware Labs will be demonstrating its Stratusphere line of products and ProfileUnity FlexApp as well as new offering called FlexDisk at its booth #741 at the upcoming VMworld event, Aug 25th to 28th in San Francisco.
