Hybrid Service. With this integration, customers can immediately
start using ScaleXtreme's rich data center automation
functionality to manage their systems running on-premises as well
as in VMware vCloud® Hybrid Service from a single pane of
glass. ScaleXtreme offers integrated system and application
monitoring, patch management, and advanced cloud management,
allowing customers to build complex applications and manage them
through a single product. ScaleXtreme is a SaaS product, allowing
customers to set up and use the product in minutes to start realizing
the benefits of these new management capabilities.
ScaleXtreme
uniquely enables both provisioning of new machines across
multiple clouds and gives customers the ability to maintain those
machines throughout the machines' lifecycle - including system
monitoring, application monitoring, patch management, application
blueprints and provisioning, as well as timed and autoscaling. Servers
hosted inside the enterprise on VMware infrastructure can be
managed alongside virtual machines hosted on the new VMware vCloud® Hybrid ServiceTM as well as virtual instances on other public clouds.
