NetJapan introduces vmGuardian Version 2, a backup and disaster recovery software solution for VMware ESXi environments. vmGuardian brings high-performance and uncompromised protection to your virtual environments and now features support for vMotion, VMWare HA and ESXi 5.5.
An enhanced browser interface guides you through the various configuration settings, scheduling and backup management tasks simplifying the process to backup and restore your virtual machines. vmGuardian supports live backup of virtual machines and disks so there is no down time. Virtual host backups gain significant benefit from vmGuardian’s inline data deduplication compression because it allows redundant data from each virtual machine to be coalesced into a single storage space. The resultant backups are compressed at remarkably high ratios significantly reducing backup storage requirements.
