Protect and Manage Hyper-V - Now with Active Anti-Virus Protection
5nine Software, the only provider of agentless/host-based security, compliance and management products for Windows Server and Hyper-V, has released 5nine Security Standard v3.7 for Windows Server and Microsoft Hyper-V. It combines Hyper-V Management and Hyper-V Anti-virus features and now has an Active Protection that monitors and protects files, virtual disks and memory of virtual machines and hosts in real time.

5nine Security Standard has an agentless anti-virus specially designed for Microsoft Hyper-V. Incremental scans, a proprietary technology, allows reduction in scan time by 99% compared to the full system scan.

This technology also makes it possible to manage different versions of multiple Microsoft hypervisors (2012 R2/2012/2008 R2 SP1) from one management console remotely or locally. This software also provides agentless/host-based anti-virus and anti-malware protection for Windows Server and Microsoft Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines.

"This remarkable 2-in-1 product was specially designed for users who want to manage their Hyper-V environment and stay protected from viruses and malware at the same time,” said Alexey Kibkalo, 5nine Software Director of Product Management. “The new version of 5nine Security Standard with Active Protection allows them to enjoy the highest level of protection.”

5nine Security Standard v3.7 runs on Windows Server 2012/2012 R2 and Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012 R2.
